Lien satisfaction doesn’t always mean that you have to pay the whole amount of the lien.
Once the lien is satisfied or released, keep a copy of the release or satisfaction document so that you can’t be sued or liened again on the same matter. Believe it or not this actually happens. I know from first hand experience.
